Question:

From Illinois, USA:

The school my daughter attends has no air conditioning on the second floor where she is. Is it healthy and safe for my child to be in a classroom in this extreme heat without any air conditioning? Is it more likely her levels could drop?

Answer:

I see no reason to demand air conditioning. Pick your battles -- the right to test and give insulin when and where you want is much more important.
