I'm making a presentation about type 2 diabetes in children. I'd like to get some information about what dietary changes we should make and if they can participate in sports. Can you give me some advice about these subjects?

Answer:

For type 2 in children, the issue is a healthy diet and lots of exercise. More exercise is better and a diet that helps prevent weight gain is recommended.
