Question:

From Chicago, Illinois, USA:

I am a 15 year old girl. How long do "typical" symptoms usually last? Can they last for five months? Does a high white blood cell count have anything to do with diabetes?

Answer:

The Symptoms of Diabetes can last for many months prior to a diagnosis of diabetes being realized. If you are having the symptoms of diabetes, I would suggest reviewing it with your physician as soon as possible. A high white blood cell count is likely not related to the symptoms of diabetes.
