Question: From England:
Is there a way to have a test for diabetes that does not include a blood drawal? I have a phobia of needles.
Answer:
I am so sorry to tell you that the ONLY way to diagnose diabetes is a blood test. You might try going to a phlebotomist (a laboratory technician who draws blood) who takes care of children and ask them to use a very small "butterfly" needle to get the blood.
