Question:

From Louisville, Kentucky, USA:

My daughter is on injections of Lantus and diluted Humalog (U10). Is it okay to pre-fill syringes with insulin and refrigerate them? If so, how long can I store them?

Answer:

You can pre-fill syringes with insulin and store in refrigerator for at least a week, probably longer. The same preservative in the insulin vials will be in the syringes. Why would you want to do this?
