Question:

From Des Mones, Iowa, USA:

Have you ever heard of diabetics getting false positive mononucleosis tests? My daughter has had four false positive tests in the last four years. She has had an Epstein-Barr panel done, too. This test says she doesn't have mononucleosis or has she ever had mononucleosis. This has me very confused!

Answer:

I'm unaware of false positive mononucleosis tests due to diabetes
