Question:

From Buffalo, New York, USA:

Is there a correlation between high blood sugars and the viscosity of blood? My husband says that,,sometimes, when my son's blood glucose is high, like over 280 mg/dl [15.6 mmol/L], his blood drips faster out of his fingertip.

Answer:

There is no correlation of which I am aware.
