I would like to know about the usage of niacinamide to suppress of destruction of the beta cells in a newly diagnosed patient.
Answer:
Theoretically, it is beneficial, but clinical human research studies have not supported the theory. Big multicentered studies in Europe, entitled ENDIT, were negative.
