Question: From Warren, Pennsylvania, USA: If a child qualifies for a free and or reduced lunch in a school district, is the child also able to have their snacks provided for? Answer: The National School Lunch Program will reimburse snacks for those children through age 18 who are in after school educational and enrichment programs. DB Additional comments from David S. Holtzman, Esq.: I am not aware of any program that provides for snacks in the public school primary grades. Snacks are provided in the Head Start Program (pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten).
