From Iceland:

My four year old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes last November, three months after we moved into a new home. We have currently moved out of this house because it was declared not safe to live in because of a mold problem. Is it possible that diabetes was caused or triggered by this mold?

Answer:

There is absolutely no data at all on this subject. These are two rare events that have not been studied.
