Question:

From Italy:

Have any of you heard of the Walter Pierpaoli Foundation of Life Sciences? Dr. Pierpaoli claims he can cure type 1 with xenogeneic islet grafting with no rejection using mini pig islets.

Answer:

There is no cure immediately available and reproducible, as yet. Sorry. There are many people hard at work, though, looking for ways to "trick" the immune system safely. Safely remains the key word!
