Question:

From Miami, Florida, USA:

My three year old son recently has been asking for water a lot. He is toilet trained and has never urinated in the bed, but has done so the past two nights. Even when we go to play at McDonald's park and I buy him a happy meal, he wants water. I also noticed that when he has urinated on the bathroom floor, ants have invaded. I am extremely concerned.

Answer:

Your son needs to be evaluated by your pediatrician; he may have diabetes. Please make an appointment to be seen as soon as possible.
