Question:

From Discovery Bay, California, USA:

What is a normal A1c for two-year-olds without diabetes? My son's was 7.7 and they said it was great, but it sounds a bit high to me.

Answer:

A normal A1c for anyone that doesn't have diabetes usually runs between 3.5 and 5.5.
