Question: From LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA:
Since I have type 1 diabetes, am I more likely to get my period later than I normally would if I didn't have diabetes? Or, is it just in my genes?
Answer:
Having well controlled type 1 diabetes usually doesn't dramatically affect the age at which you will have your first period.
