Question:

From India:

Can it be possible that, for a person with type 2, diabetic neuropathy or some neuropathy is developed due to occasional hypoglycemia brought on by taking improper medication? Is there proof that diabetic neuropathy is developed due to persisting hyperglycemia for prolonged time?

Answer:

Yes, it is well established that the damage to nerves is by elevated blood sugars for a prolonged time.
