Question:

From India:

As unclear motions can be common in diabetic patients, is taking purgative or laxatives medications, routinely, beneficial for type 2 diabetics? Which purgative or laxative can be better for diabetics? How about lactulose? Is it clear that motions really benefit diabetics? Personally, I observed that clear motions, though rare, do benefit me and better control my blood glucose levels.

Answer:

I am not familiar with literature that suggests such a benefit.
