What factors, other than diet, can cause significant blood sugar fluctuations in a young girl? Menses, stress, and exercise are others, I believe.
Answer:
Additional factors include injection technique (too shallow, for example may cause a delay in insulin being absorbed); hot tubs (may cause insulin to be absorbed too quickly); illness; other endocrine or hormone conditions (thyroid, adrenal gland); and immunizations, which may lead to hyperglycemia - just to name a few!
