Question:

From Ishpeming, Michigan, USA:

What would cause all of my grandson's finger tips to blister and peel? They do not hurt him, but are sometimes itchy. His doctor gave him cream for this.

Answer:

Peeling skin on the fingers can be caused by infection, dry skin, a reaction to something he may have touched. It is not possible to tell you with certainty what may have caused his fingers to peel without examining him and getting a more detailed history. I would recommend visiting with your pediatrician.
