  Back to Ask the Diabetes Team About Lynn Wilson
Lynn Wilson, RN, CDE, received her Associate of Science in Nursing in 1976 from Boise State University. She received her CDE in 1990 and renewed in 1995. She was worked in both hospital and private practice, and is currently a school nurse in the Meridian School District in Meridian, Idaho. In her school job, she serves as a school nurse in a middle school with 1,165 students and consults on diabetes care issues for the entire school district (20,000 students from 3 traditional high schools, 2 alternative high schools, 4 middle schools, 1 alternative middle school, 20 elementary schools, and 10 preschool programs). In that population, about 60 kids have diabetes.

Lynn has also served as the Assistant Director of Camp Hodia and Hodia Teen Camp/Wilderness Camp for the past 20 summers. She brings a wealth of experience dealing with kids with diabetes in school.
