Complications from 2012

  1. After 54 years with diabetes, I am in good control. Lately, I have "pins and needles" in my hands and feet. Are these sensations related to diabetes? (4 Sep 2012)
  2. For about six years, my son has always been antibody negative. Could we use his brother's cord blood to reverse his diabetes? Should the doctor pursue testing for MODY or such? (8 May 2012)
  3. I have had type 1 diabetes since 1958 and have proliferative retinopathy but no kidney damage. Is it rare to have eye problems but no kidney issues? (23 Mar 2012)
