Assistant Camp Director
Part time Assistant Camp Director position from January 04 - September 04 for hard-working, flexible, team player at The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc. in North Oxford, MA for a scuba diving/camping program for teens with diabetes. The position will consist of administration and program coordination during pre-season in MA and requires potential attendance and facilitation of program in NY and the US Virgin Islands during its 3-4 week duration in summer of 2004. American Camping Association accreditation and scuba diving experience, and lifeguard ocean certified a plus. Full-time Assistant Camp Director position for energetic, hard-working, creative, positive role-model at The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc. in North Oxford, MA. Position involves administrative and program responsibilities, working closely with the Resident Camp Director to provide fun, educational programs for kids and families with diabetes. Responsibilities include planning and implementing weekend programs during the Fall, Winter, and Spring, and coordinating 90-camper and 65-staff residential camp during the summer. Candidate will share leadership and supervisory responsibilities with Resident Camp Director and assume all responsibilities and roles of Resident Camp Director in her absence. Assist Camp Director in preparing and completing annual Board of Health and American Camp Association requirements. Competitive salary and benefits + housing negotiable.
