Ciao. Il mio nome e' Luca. Abito a Genova, Italia, dove sono nato il 2 maggio 1986. Mi e' stato inaspettatamente diagnosticato l'I.D.D.M. nell'ottobre del 1994. Ho subito reagito bene imparando a fare da solo le iniezioni di insulina e i controlli della glicemia. Nella foto, ero a Pisa, Italia, vicino alla famosa torre pendente. In mano tenevo una gabbietta contenente un grillo canterino (che ho chiamato cri cri). L'avevo comprato a Firenze, Italia, alla "Festa del Grillo". Amo gli animali: ho un cane (Powder Puffy, un Collie), un gatto (Fifi'), una tartaruga (Tarty), un criceto (Rody), due cocorite (Cocco e Rita) e sette pesci rossi. Mi piace andare in bicicletta e giocare col computer. Non parlo bene l'inglese, ma chiederò aiuto alla mia maestra di lingua straniera. E-mail psic@igecuniv.unige.it Hello. My name is Luca. I live in Genoa, Italy, were I was born may 2 1986. I was unexpectedly diagnosed with I.D.D.M. in October 1994. I immediately reacted well learning to give insulin injections and to monitor my blood glucose by myself. In the photo, I was in Pisa, Italy, near the famous leaning tower. In my hand I was holding a small cage containing a chirping cricket (named cri-cri). I bought it at the "Cricket Fair" in Florence, Italy. I love animals: I have a dog (Powder Puff, a Collie), a cat (Fifi), a turtle (Turty), an hamster (Rody), two small parrots (Cocco e Rita) and seven red fish. I love to ride my bike and I like to play with my computer. I don't speak English well, but I am going to ask my teacher of English for help. E-mail psic@igecuniv.unige.it
