Hi! My name is Heather. I'm 8, I'll be 9 in January (1998). I was diagnosed with diabetes on October 26, 1995. At first I hated diabetes because of the diet, the shots, and the blood checks, but now I love it! When I got the pump I loved it and I still do! When I put in the set it doesn't hurt because I put Emla cream on first. I also love it because all I have to do is punch in the number and activate it and it will give the insulin to me.
