| Hello, my name is Aimee. I am 8 years old. I have diabetes. I have an older sister, Nicole, who also is diabetic. She is on here too. I was diagnosed when I was two years old.
What I hate most about being diabetic is that I can't eat certain candies and I wonder what they taste like. I like being diabetic because sometimes I get special treats. On Halloween my Aunt Winnie gives my sister and I special treats that no one else gets. Sometimes I can really hate shots and finger checks and I really DON'T want to do them. Sometimes I have to eat and I hate to eat. Sometimes when I feel low I wait a while to tell someone and then I get even lower.
I like to play soccer and do ballet. I am in a Ballet Company. I like to watch TV and play on the computer. Please e-mail me at aimee@qn.net.
