Hi, I am Ruben Yperlaan from the Netherlands. I have had diabetes since October 1993. My doctor is Mr. Bruining. He works at the Sophia Childrens Hospital in Rotterdam. There is one thing I hate most of having diabetes and that is injecting myself. My doctor says controlling the disease is like domesticating a dog and since I have a puppy (born on November 7, 1997) I know what he means because my puppy is very active and it tries to bite in everything it sees.
