Hi ! My name is Andrea Martinez. I'm 5 years old and I live in Madrid, Spain. I was diagnosed on December 1, 1998. I was visiting the toilet very often, drinking a lot and losing a lot of weight. After a few days, my Mom was very worried and brought me to the hospital where they explained to us all about my new situation and my future. I am handling my "new situation" quite well, for sure better than daddy and mom. They showed to me the photos of the other kids with diabetes.
