Hi. My name is Ryan McClatchey. I am 7 years old. I found out I had diabetes on Feb. 22, 1999. I went to the hospital for 2 1/2 days. I was really scared at first, but now it's no big deal. I haven't cried with any finger prick or any shot yet. I can prick my own finger and test my own blood. My uncle lets me fly his airplane when he comes to town. It can fit 7 passengers (8 including a pet). I fly the flight simulator on the computer a lot too. Me and my dad have flying contests on the computer. The Blue Angels are my favorite flying team. I'm going to play baseball this spring. I just got a new bat. I would be glad for anyone to write to me at rmcclatchey@hotmail.com.
