My name is Heather and I am 9 yrs old. I have Cystic Fibrosis and was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1997, but just started on insulin in May 1999. I take aerosol medications, am on a feeding pump 4 times a day and now take 2 injections of insulin a day and check my blood sugar 4 times a day. As you can see, I have alot to do. I am trying to get used to the injections, but it gets hard sometimes.
Besides all this, I like just to be a kid. I like to swim, surf and chat on Headbone zone, watch cartoons, American Girls, collect Beanie Babies and draw. I live in the country and have 3 dogs, 3 ducks, 3 birds and 1 cat. I also
love to learn about animals on the Discovery and Animal Planet shows and in books. And I love to get e-mail.
