Alexander
My name is Alexander Ross. I am 7 years old. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I got diabetes when I was 5 years old. When I got diabetes I began taking shots and pricking my finger. Right after I started kindergarten, I was sick. My grandmother noticed how much I had to use the bathroom and how thirsty I was. She told my mother that she thought I had diabetes. She was right and my mother took me to the hospital. And the hospital was no fun. Well, it was kind of fun, because I met other kids and played with cool toys. Now, I don't need my mother to prick my finger. I can do it myself now. I am always itchy because I have lots of allergies. And it gets really bad when my sugar is high.

I like Komodo Dragons. I go to see them at the Albuqueque Zoo. I also see Caimans there. There are the only Crocodilians there. I like to learn about Dinosaurs and all reptiles. At camp I saw a Horned Toad. I draw pictures of lizards and dinosaurs and won the T-shirt contest at school and now my drawing is on the school's T-shirt. I love movies especially any movie with dinosaurs.

I love to talk to other kids, so send your email to me at alexander@wrinclink.com.
