Hi! I'm Austin and this is my new baby brother Adam! I'll be 4 years old in October 1999. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was only 15 months old. My mom and dad say I'm really brave since I have to get all these shots and blood tests! Every year we have a walk team named after me to raise money through the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation to find a cure so I won't have to get shots anymore! I recently asked my mom "If god makes everything and can make my boo-boo's go away, why can't he take away my diabetes?" She said that was a very good question and maybe if we add that to our prayers every night someday a cure will be found! Austin and his parents receive e-mail at Diane_Lorenzo@prenhall.com.
