Hi, my name is Jennifer, but my friends call me Jen. I have had diabetes since just before my 10th birthday and I am now nearly 16. Just before I was diagnosed, I was giving away all my chocolate, as it was just after Christmas.

My mum got worried and took me to the doctor who refered me to the hospital. I was lucky they found out about it when they did.

I love music, all types, from country and western to rock'n'roll! My favourite bands are the Moffatts, Hanson and Backstreet Boys. I love a good laugh and I'm quite mad (nutter!) I love to sing, dance and act.
