My name is Heather. I turned 10 years old in January, 2000. I live in Indiana. I love to listen to records. My favorite sport is soccer. I have Type 1 diabetes. At first, when I found out I had diabetes in October 1999, I didn't like it. When I was being diagnosed in the hospital, I found out I 'needed' sugar; I was so happy. I went to Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. I liked the neat games, and arts and crafts. When I first got my shots and finger pokes, I didn't like them. But now I do them myself. Having diabetes is sometimes fun, but sometimes not. I would like a pen-pal. Please e-mail me at h_l_graham@yahoo.com.
