Hi! My name is Tawnee and I am 10 years old but I will be 11 in Feb 2000. I found out out that I had diabetes on December 17, 1999. I was scared at first but then I got over it. I had to go to the hospital for two days. I was really scared but my mom stayed with me. Sometimes I come on here and read other peoples stories. It makes me feel lucky that I have diabetes and I'm not alone. People with diabetes are really lucky. I love to dance! My favorite sports are dancing, soccer, basketball, kickball,and swimming. I am a BIG fan of Britney Spears and Ricky Martin. When I grow up I either want to be a Dancer, Teacher, or a Diabetic teacher and tell them that they're not alone and that there is a lot of people who have diabetes. Well, Hope to talk to you soon.
