Hi, my name is Rachel Bensen. I am ten years old. I live in Minnesota. I have had diabetes for a year and a half. I like to read, draw and listen to music. I don't give myself shots yet. I have one dog, Ruben, and two cats, Whiskers and Baby. Baby is in the picture with me.

Now when my family goes to the Dairy Queen, it is a huge treat for me to get a small ice-cream cone. At home I make my own popsicles for my self. I am an only child. I have four cousins. I like to watch the Rugrats and Hey Arnold on t.v.
