  Back to Kids' Voices Ross
My name is Ross Tanner. I am 10 years old. I have cerebral palsy and Type 1 diabetes. I have a six year old sister, Jodie, and two half-brothers.

I was just diagnosed in February 2000. My Mama and Daddy took me to the Doctor because I was drinking a lot and going to the bathroom more than usual. When I got to the doctor, my blood sugar was over 600. I stayed in the hospital 7 days getting my blood sugar regulated. I feel better now that my blood sugar is more in control.

I have a large family and a church that cares a lot about me. They are all happy that I am better. I check my blood sugar 4 times a day and I get two shots a day.

I would like to receive e-mail from others with CP and Diabetes. I enjoy being in school plays, playing basketball, swimming, riding my bike, and jumping on the trampoline. I also have several hunting dogs. My address is atanner@pcnow.net. I promise to write back.
