My name is Samuel Farmer. I am nine years old. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on March 6th, 2000. I spent 3 days in the hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. I live in Tennessee. I enjoy playing soccer and basketball. I also like to play with my paintball gun. I have a brother who is almost 15. I am the only one in my family with diabetes. Except for my grandmother she had type 2. I am doing really well with all the shots and finger sticks. I hope to talk to other kids with diabetes. You can e-mail me at ttsg@webtv.net.
