My name is Angela and I got diabetes when in Nov. 1998 when I was about 11 years old. Before that I was in a diabetes prevention trial to try and prevent it because my mother has it and I had a huge chance of getting it. I am now 17 years old. I am currently using the Minimed Paradigm pump. I have had the pump for about 4 years in December.

I like to listen to mainly alternative music. Some of my favorite bands are Smile Empty Soul, Finger Eleven, and 3 Doors Down. I pretty much have to be in the mood to listen to any music. Some other things that I like are the colors red and purple. I am absolutely in love with pigs!!

I am a senior in high school this year. I don't know where exactly I am going to go to college but I am sure it will be an experience.
