Hi, I'm Sydney and I am 8 1/2 years old. I have diabetes like some of you other kids do. It is type 1. Sometimes I yell and scream about it but every one does it once in a while. The insulin shots are fine, but sometimes they hurt and I cry. I love fingerpricks because all my friends think I am super brave because I take my shots. I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1997.
