Hello I'm Vanya Melnikov. I'm sixteen years old. I'm from Russia. I live near the Ural mountains in a city named Yekaterinburg. I was diagnosed when I was six. At first diabetes seems to be very difficult to live with. After several years I decided that diabetes is just a part of my life, it is a part of me and I can handle it. Of course at first doctors said that I can not eat sweets or anything that includes sugar in it, but after several years I did not even think that I can not eat sweets, I just ate them and covered with insulin.
