My name is Stephanie. I am 10 years old and in the fifth grade and have type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed on July 3, 2000 and had a blood glucose level of 842. I was in the hospital for 4 days. I live in Illinois. I like the Backstreet Boys and dancing and playing basketball. I have a younger brother. I have to check my blood sugar four times a day and I would like the insulin pump.
