Hello, My name is Carlitos, I am 4 years old and live in Miami, Florida. I was diagnosed just a couple of months ago (June 2001). I started to wetting my bed every night and lost a lot of weight. My mom and dad took me to the hospital and I had to stay there 4 days. They were very very sad, but now we are very happy again. I'm doing pretty well. Diabetes does not stop me. I love to ride my bicycle, play baseball and soccer. I have a little brother (he is just 10 month old). We love each other and I'm waiting for him to grow up so we can start riding bicycle and practicing sports together. I also love music and my dad is teaching me how to play piano. Fui diagnosticado con diabetes hace solo 2 meses (junio 2001). Comenze a orinarme en la cama y perdi mucho peso. Mi mami y papi me llevaron al hospital, donde estuve 4 dias. Ellos estaban muy muy tristes, pero ahora somos felices de nuevo. A mi me va muy bien. La diabetes no me detiene. Me encanta montar bicicleta, jugar beisbol y futbol. Tengo un hermanito de solo 10 meses. Estoy esperando que crezca para poder jugar y compartir juntos. Tambien me gusta mucho la musica, mi papa me esta enseqando a tocar piano.
