I live in Brazil (a beautiful country) in a city named Ribeirão Preto near São Paulo. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on January 8, 1997. My Mom knew something was wrong because I was drinking a lot and I was very tired. My favorite things to do are draw, swim and play with my younger sisters, Teresa and Ana. We love each other. After a period of roller coaster blood sugars in 1999, I began using an insulin pump. That made my life so much easier. I love the pump. I must prick my finger 6 to 7 times a day. My Dad says that Children with Diabetes is his favorite homepage and this homepage has been a very important support for us.
