Heeyz PPL... How are you all doing? I'm great. I want to tell you a small story about my life and how my life has changed since I have diabetes. I'm 16 now and I was diagnosed on November 2000. What I do in normal life? Well, I just hang out with my friends and I also drive with my little car that runs on gasoline. All of my friends know what diabetes is and they respect me just as I am. My twin sister Dorien has diabetes since June 1999. So I already knew what it's like to have diabetes. I have to inject myself 4 times a day. When I heard that I had diabetes I just tried to deny it but there was nothing I could change about it. The fact is that my sister found out that I had the common symptoms that every diabetic has. I drank a lot and I had to go to the bathroom many times. I was really shocked to hear it, but now, after two years, I'm getting used to the fact that I will have it for all my life. Everything is going well now for me and my sister.
