Hi! My name is John, I am 12 years old and live in Kansas City. I got diabities when I was three. I have always loved sports. Diabities has been a challenge during my sports, but I have managed to play many sports. A year and a half ago I got the insulin pump. When I first got the pump it was really hard because the tape holding the canula would keep coming off when I got sweaty. However, I have adjusted to the problems and don't have near the problems during sports that I did at first. The hobbies I like to do are legos, basketball, football, baseball, snow skiing and snow bording. I also have a cat and a 16 year old brother. Right now every thing is going great. I would love to hear from others with diabetes, especially if you have the pump. I would also be glad to answer any questions you might have if you are thinking about the pump.
