My Name is Nathan. Hello everyone. I have had diabetes now for 6 years. I am now 14 years old. My parents found out that I had diabetes because one night I drank two 64oz cartons of orange juice and then my parents brought me to the doctor. I got to the hospital and my number was 467. I stayed at the hospital from Friday night until Sunday night. I now have an A1c of 6.8 and I take 6 shots a day. I am switching to the insulin pump. I am going to be using the MiniMed Paradigm. I live in New York City. My hobbies are computers, rocketry, swimming and science. I think we should first find a way to prevent other people from getting diabetes and then make a cure for the people who have it.
