Hi! My name is Leanne. I am 13 and I am from Ontario, Canada. I have had diabetes for about 6 years now. I have had a MiniMed 508 pump for about 2 years now. I wouldn't give it up because I feel like I have my life back now. I can go to grab a pizza with friends when I want to, I don't have to worry about having so many high blood sugars in the night either. I love to play soccer. I played on a girls select team last year and we won the championships! I also enjoy reading books by Dee Henderson. As well, I enjoy chatting online with friends all around the world. I also love playing basketball. (I hope I make the team this year!) I also like to go to the junior youth group at my church.
