Hello. My name is Sammy Jo. I have had diabetes for 10 years now. I am 13 as of June 29. When I was first diagnosed (November 17) I had lost a lot of weight and was drinking fluids constantly. My Mom released something was wrong and rushed me to the local hospital. It was in Altoona, Pennsylvania. I am now on the insulin pump. I attended diabetes camp for 5 years.

Here is a little bit about me: I am in the school band, Playing clarinet. I love history and talking to other diabetics. I can help people out if they need it. Diabetes runs in my family.
