Hi everyone. My name is Megan and I am 8 years old and I live in Norfolk, England. I was rushed into hospital while we were on holiday in Italy on August 13, 2003 and I stayed in hospital for 5 days until the doctors got my insulin levels right.

I can test my blood ok but I still don't like doing my injections. Now we are back in the UK I only have to have two injections a day but I was having four or five.

I love sport, especially swimming, netball, rounders and field hockey.

I live with my mum and dad and my brother Robbie who is 11,but my other brother WJ, who is 17, lives near Milton Keynes where he goes to college.
