Hi my name is Elizabeth but you can call me wiz for short! I am 13 years old and had diabetes for 9 years. I take 5 injections a day.

My blood sugars are between 5 and 10 mmol/l [90 and 180 mg/dl] and I've never gone hyper. I've gone hypo once and had to go into hospital for four days. I don't recommend it!

I live in Merseyside near Liverpool, where the Beatles came from. I enjoy badminton (I play for my county), swimming (in a swimming club), football (in a school team) and I especially like hockey (also on school team).

I've got one sister, Mary, 14, my Mum, Anne-Marie and dad, Liam and ME!
