Hi my name is Michelle and live in Baltimore, Maryland. I have a twin sister named Julie, a cat named Lovey and a dog named Roxy. I am absolutely obsessed with Johnny Depp and I love John Waters (from Baltimore) and his Films (Cry Baby and Hairspray). I love Orlando Bloom too and also love watching "The OC" and "Gilmore Girls". I am 15 years old and I have had type 1 diabetes since I was 2 years old. I have been on the insulin Pump for almost 4 years and it is great. It makes eating and giving insulin so much easier then shots. Having diabetes isn't really a problem for me because I have lived with it all of my life. I have lots of friends and they all usually forget that I have diabetes. I have very good control over my diabetes so my friends don't notice. No one else in my family has diabetes, but my great grandmother did. Once a year all of my friends and family get together and supprot me by going on the walk for diabetes. It is a lot of fun and it shows how much they all care for me. Having Diabetes is not the end of the world. Millions of peolpe live comfortablely with diabetes and I am one of them.
